Tips for photographing Hagia Sophia:
Hagia Sophia is perfectly lit outside and therefore an excellent motive for long exposure photography.

Tripods are not allowed to take in. Use one when it gets dark outside for some beautiful long exposure shots.

You can try playing with angles and involve the colored water fountain or the little food carts in front of the building. Ideally, you have a wide-angle lens to capture the entire beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site from the outside as well as the inside.
